The long awaited CD from singer/songwriter JhaVoice is now here!
JhaVoice is one of the new artist to watch, as she re-introduces herself with her second CD. "Voice 2 Sing" is her first full length project and is a incredible show of talent. Her Middle Eastern stylings on top of urban fueled beats and new age hip-hop, sets the stage as she sings words of hope, faith and love. Produced by Kaiu Lateef for Kaichi Productions and K-Beats for K-Beats Productions, "Voice 2 Sing" is the new CD that you must have in your collection.
If you have had a chance to see JhaVoice live, then you will remember songs like "Let's Roll", "Why Do We Kill". She brings it to another level with "Rebel Song", and the Chopin inspired "You Say (Moonlight) is another instant classic. You'll understand exactly where she is coming from after listening to "Voice 2 Sing".

Really Really Good-Keep On Turning!!
Really Really Good-Keep On Turning!! News and Hip Hop views

While I was setting up shop, getting my online hustle on and such, I realized that my blogging has not been up to par as of late. The word count of my articles has dropped to an all time low, as YouTube has become my new drug. I mean, that site has so much to offer that it's mind boggling at times. While other bloggers write their assess of, giving you their side of the story, I have dropped into a Fark-esque type of type setting. Yes, I do have opinions on everything, just like you. I just don't have the TIME to whine as much as I used to. So from this day forth, I am putting my self into YouTube rehab. Just like my man Rush, I will try to ween myself away from the toxins and easy fix of YT, and fill in the gaps a little bit. Understand, this will be a lengthy process, and I am not going cold turkey. You will see a video posted here and there, so please forgive me in advance for my relapses. I'm trying. So it's back to the grill again, with more words and less videos. You ready? Cool, let's get it! Oh yeah, the pic is from the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles. I went window shopping for my next whip and saw this nice scrapper. Recognize it?

DVDs in the headrest
If you have not seen this movie, you might want to check for it. I stress
the word might. It's not a bad movie, it's actually kind of amazing, in a disturbing kind of way. The main character is kidnapped and held hostage for 15 years, in a sick game of revenge for something he did waaaaay back in the day. I won't spoil it for you, but let's just say it is not a conventional drama, with it's scenes of teeth pulling, backstabbing and a sick underlying love
story that might make most of the religious right sick to their stomach. It got to me a bit to, truth be told. The story is so mysterious and dark, that it draws you in, as you want to discover the secret behind Oh-Dae-su, the main character and his captor. When he is finally released back into the world, the story begins to unravel with a even more twisted ending. Ultimately, , I don't know if I would totally recommended this one. While masterful in its presentation, the story lost me with unnecessary scenes of torture and the way over the top plot. This one is not for the faint of heart or pious, but it is very interesting, if nothing else.

Really Really Good:Chuuurch!

Good day my brothers and sisters! What’s the science? You know how it goes for your boy, same shiznit, different toilet. It’s been a minute since I dumped one on you all here, so let me get your nose open to my new funk!
I could start the piece off by complaining about my crazy world, but why bore you. I’m pretty sure that underneath all the flossing and fronting, all of our lives equally suck. OK, maybe my life doesn’t suck as hard as yours, I mean there are a few perks to being as fly as I.
I get the skinny on some really cool shit, like the Avalon show at the Roxy, or the banging downtown LA party that jumped off my roof this Saturday night, that you didnt even know about! I get the word and backstage passes to jam sessions at legendary spots like Temple Bar in Santa Monica that you should be at!!(Peace to April King, JewelzDaGod, The Luminaries, JhaVoice and the rest of the set) . I got the hook up for the illest hip-hop concert of the summer….again !!! And at the end of the day, I got more shine that your grandmama’s chrome dome, under the big screen and laser lights in the Staple Center. Translation, it’s all good….really, really good! Peep game, party people, peep game. This is for all those in my congregation worlwide!
BIG, BIG, BIG apologizes to my man HiLo for missing the show Sunday. My bad, for real…I overbooked myself again and was getting ready for the Santa Monica thing when I remembered the Burbank thing. Next one is one me!
And now, on with the show!

Ask yourself the same question!

Yeah, ya feel it! It’s Q, the hip-hop blogster cuts thru the fog for more news for that azz! Links, little looks, and a whole lotta attitude makes the page complete. If you rhyme to the beat, at least stay on beat! Translation:::::Let’s get the party started!
~~
Let’s go Dodgers!
I don’t know what to say…3 ground balls into double plays yesterday at the park. Not a good look for the home team. Everytime LA rallied and tied, they would give up a run to the very next Philly batter, and Utley and the boys didn’t miss a shot!
It got pretty ugly, with Russell Martin getting run over and laid out by Utley in a bit of dirty ball. Martin took it all in stride tho’, as the Phillies took the win for the day…..tonight, LA welcomes the Mets.

Bulletin Message from KRS-One
From: KRS ONE
Date: May 21, 2006 6:33 PM
If you featured anything about Hip Hop Appreciation Week in your so called "Hip Hop" magazine then prove you aint one of these fake magazines like The Source! and let the Temple know what your really doing to promote Hip Hop Awareness. Let the real journalists rise up and BREAK THE CHAINS! only 2 magazines out of 34,000 people responded to this post, we will display their name within a few days.
Here is a question that bothers me about you so called Hip Hop magazines. You went to school, learned about grammar and spelling, you write that Hip Hop is a Culture, but you spell Hip Hop like this (hip hop) that is total disrespect! You wouldn't spell African or Mexican without capitols why would you be-little our Culture by spelling it this way? You Must Learn! respect my Culture and capitalize Hip Hop.
PEACE!

Mother's Day History
--
On April 9, 2003, Satyabhama Mahapatra, a 65-year-old retired schoolteacher in India, became the world's oldest mother when she gave birth to a baby boy. Satyabhama and her husband had been married 50 years, but this is their first child. The baby was conceived through artificial insemination using eggs from the woman's 26-year-old niece, Veenarani Mahapatra, and the sperm of Veenarani's husband.

a word from DJ 3rd I
This is for everyone that may have questions of why we are in the current situation in our world. Watch, learn, and question our leaders. We must unplug before we can kill the Matrix. We must unite and build a new future because our current leaders are obsessed with the past and fullfilling the prophecies a book. You need and hour to watch- make the time and prepare yourself. -3rdi
